American Souls is the debut album from Kansas City Folk singer Andy Albano. These 12 original songs are observations on living in America as it is today. It documents the frustrations of America's working class and outcasts. The farmers, immigrants, waitresses, truck drivers, single moms, opiod users, torn lovers, the LGBTQ community; all who are desperately searching for their personal American dream amid the irony of their struggles. Real Americana.

Albano pays homage to the sounds of traditional Country, Honky Tonk Blues and Folk Rock music. He's blended in a couple of Pop Ballads to the mix that mirror some long forgotten, and dimly lit piano bar during the heated summer of 1968.

Featured on the album are Vince Mullin, guitarist for the late legendary blues mandolin player Yank Rachell and George "Bam Bam" Sheppard, who holds the back beat on drums. Sheppard is highly regarded for his work with greats ranging from jazz icon Dizzy Gillespie to the rock group The Talking Heads.
